Terms of Service
Last updated: 27 September 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and the operator of Productus (productus.ai). Please read them; by creating an account or using the service you accept them.
1. Who we are
Productus is operated by Elio Keddisseh, an individual acting in his own name (“we”, “us”), pending the incorporation of Productus as a company in Singapore. Contact: hello@productus.ai. Phone: +33 6 35 24 83 41. Postal address: 10 Rue de Provence, 31400 Toulouse, France. Publication director: Elio Keddisseh. The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, United States, privacy@vercel.com; Vercel publishes no phone number.
This arrangement is temporary. Once the Singapore company exists, it will take over this agreement (see section 17). We will email every account holder before that happens.
2. Who can use Productus
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and you must be using Productus for a business, a project or a product you work on. If you accept these terms for a company, you confirm you have the authority to bind it, and “you” then means that company.
3. What Productus is
Productus collects product feedback in one place, groups it into themes with AI, and shows which paying customers are tied to each theme. Some features, such as specification drafts and the before-and-after report on a resolved theme, are still being built; the pricing page and the roadmap mark them. Features change often at this stage: items shown on our roadmap or marked as coming next are plans, not commitments, and we may add, change or retire features. Where a change removes something you rely on, we will give notice by email where we reasonably can.
4. Your account
Keep your sign-in method secure, and tell us at hello@productus.ai if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens in your workspace, including what your invited teammates do. One person per seat: do not share a seat, and do not create several free workspaces to get around the free plan's limits.
5. Plans, limits and payment
Free plan. The free plan has no time limit and needs no card. It is capped by volume: today, 100 new feedback items a month and 500 items stored in total, one seat and one connected source (pasting, CSV uploads and the widget do not count as the connected source). When a cap is reached, everything already stored stays, and new feedback is not accepted until the month rolls over (for the monthly cap) or until you upgrade (for the total cap); until paid plans open, write to us if you reach it. Sample data does not count. Free workspaces display a “Powered by Productus” badge on the feedback widget. We may adjust the free plan's limits with at least 30 days' notice by email; what you have already stored stays.
Paid plans. Paid plans (Starter, Growth and Scale) are listed on our pricing page with their prices and limits. They are not yet on sale. When they open, they will be sold by the company that operates Productus at that time, through a payment provider named in the Privacy Policy, and these terms will apply to the purchase:
- Subscriptions renew automatically, monthly or yearly, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Settings; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid, and you keep access until then.
- Prices exclude taxes; we add the taxes the law requires for your country.
- We will give at least 30 days' notice by email before a price change affects you; the new price applies from your next renewal after that notice.
- Fees are not refundable except where the law says otherwise. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you can withdraw within 14 days of buying. If you asked us to start straight away, we refund you minus the share of the period already used.
- If a payment fails, we will tell you and retry; if it still fails after 14 days, we move the workspace to the free plan and its limits apply.
Founding price. The first 100 workspaces to buy a paid plan get 30% off the list price, on a monthly or a yearly subscription. The discount stays for as long as that subscription remains active without interruption. It ends if the subscription is cancelled or lapses for non-payment, and it cannot be combined with any other offer.
Enterprise. If you need more than the Scale plan offers, write to us; we will quote custom terms.
6. Your content
“Your content” is everything you bring into your workspace: feedback text, files, reviews fetched from sources you connect, emails you forward, notes left in your widget, customer records and revenue figures, and the product context you enter. It stays yours. You give us the right to store, process and display it, and to run it through the AI providers named in the Privacy Policy, to provide the service to you and to produce the anonymised aggregate statistics described in section 10. The themes, priorities and summaries the service generates from your content are yours to use as you wish.
You are responsible for your content. In particular you confirm that:
- you have the right to bring it into Productus, including the right to collect feedback from your users through the widget or to import it from other tools;
- where it contains personal data about other people, you have a lawful basis for collecting it and for having us process it, and you have told those people what you needed to;
- it does not break the law or anyone's rights, and it contains no malware.
When you connect a source such as an app store listing, you authorise us to use the credentials you provide to fetch data on your behalf, and you remain bound by that source's own terms.
7. Data we process on your behalf
For the personal data inside your content, you are the controller and we are your processor under the General Data Protection Regulation. This section is our data processing agreement.
- What we process, and for how long. The subject matter is the feedback, customer and revenue data you bring into your workspace, as described in section 6. It concerns your users, your customers and the people who wrote the feedback, and can include names, email addresses, user identifiers and the text they wrote. We process it for as long as your workspace exists.
- We process that data only to provide the service and on your documented instructions, which are these terms and your use of the product, plus the anonymised aggregate statistics described in section 10. If we believe an instruction breaks the law, we will tell you.
- Everyone who has access to that data on our side is bound by confidentiality.
- We apply the security measures described in the Privacy Policy. If we learn of a personal data breach affecting your data, we will tell you without undue delay, and we will help you meet your own security, breach-notification and impact-assessment duties, within reason.
- We use the subprocessors listed in the Privacy Policy, each bound by written terms that carry the same data protection obligations as this section. We will update that list and email account holders before adding one; if you object, you may end this agreement and delete your workspace before the change takes effect.
- We will help you answer requests from the people whose data you hold: you can export your feedback data as a CSV file at any time and delete a whole workspace; to erase one person's items, write to us and we will do it within 30 days.
- When you delete a workspace or your account, we erase that data immediately, apart from the minimal records described in the Privacy Policy. If we end this agreement, we give you at least 30 days to export first, except where the content itself is unlawful or the law requires us to act faster.
- On request, we will give you the information you reasonably need to show that we meet these obligations, and we will allow an audit or inspection by you or an auditor you appoint, at reasonable notice and no more than once a year unless the law or a breach requires more.
- Data is processed within the European Union, except for the transfers described in the Privacy Policy, which rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. Acceptable use
Do not use Productus to break the law, to store or spread unlawful content, to send spam, to attack or overload the service, or to reverse-engineer it. Do not scrape or import data you have no right to. Do not resell access to the service without our written agreement. Keep your API keys and integration tokens secret; requests made with them count as yours. We may apply rate limits and, for serious or repeated breaches, suspend or close a workspace (see section 14).
9. AI-generated output
Productus uses AI models to read, group and summarise feedback. This output is generated automatically. It can be incomplete or wrong, and you should check it before acting on it. In particular, the “revenue at risk” shown on a theme is the summed current revenue of the paying customers that could be matched to that theme; it is a floor over the customers we could match, not a total and not a prediction of loss, and the match rate is always shown next to it. Productus measures what changed after you ship; it never proves that a change caused a result. Decisions remain yours.
10. Our intellectual property
The Productus service, its software, design, name and documentation belong to us or to our licensors. These terms give you a limited right to use the service; they transfer no other right. If you send us suggestions about Productus, we may use them without owing you anything. We may use anonymised, aggregate statistics about how feedback is classified across all workspaces (counts by category, how often a suggestion was corrected) to improve the service; no feedback text, theme name, name, email address or embedding is ever taken out of your workspace for that purpose.
11. The “Powered by Productus” badge
On the free plan, the feedback widget you place on your site carries a small “Powered by Productus” link. Removing or hiding it is not allowed on the free plan. Paid plans do not display it.
12. Availability and support
We work to keep Productus running and to fix problems quickly, but we do not promise a particular level of uptime and we may take the service down for maintenance. Support is by email at hello@productus.ai, with no guaranteed response time.
13. Switching and export
You can leave at any time, and you can ask us to help you move to another tool or back to your own systems. Notice from you is never longer than 2 months, and you can simply delete your workspace instead. What you can take with you: your feedback items with their classification and themes, as a CSV file from Settings, at any time; and your customer records, revenue entries and product context, which we provide on request within 30 days. What stays behind: the service's own software, its taxonomy of categories, and the anonymised aggregate statistics described in section 10. There is no fee for leaving or for exporting. If you ask for help moving, we provide it within 30 days, and the export remains available for at least 30 days after your workspace stops being used; after that we erase the data as described in the Privacy Policy. If we end this agreement for a reason other than your breach, we give at least 30 days' notice, during which the export remains available.
14. Ending the agreement
By you. Delete your workspace, or your whole account, from Settings at any time. Deletion is immediate and permanent. If you have a paid subscription, it ends with the workspace, and the period already paid is not refunded.
By us. We may suspend or close a workspace, with notice by email, if you breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if the free plan's limits or anti-abuse rules are being circumvented. For a serious breach, or where the law requires it, we may act without notice. We may also delete free workspaces with no sign-in for 12 months, and we will email you at least 30 days before doing so. We may stop offering Productus altogether with at least 90 days' notice.
15. What we do not promise
Productus is provided as it is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty that it will meet your needs, run without interruption, or that its output will be accurate. If you are a consumer, the legal guarantee of conformity in the law of the country where you live still applies. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, for death or personal injury, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited.
16. Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, lost data that you could have exported, or losses that neither of us could reasonably have foreseen. For everything else, our total liability to you for all claims in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period, or to 100 euros if you paid nothing. You agree to cover us against claims by third parties that arise from your content or from your breach of section 6 or 8. If you are a consumer, the mandatory protections of the law of the country where you live apply, and these limits do not reduce them.
17. Changes to these terms, and change of operator
We may update these terms. For a change that matters to you, we will email account holders at least 30 days before it takes effect; if you do not agree, you can delete your workspace before that date. Continuing to use Productus after that date means you accept the change. We may transfer this agreement, and your account and data with it, to the company that will be incorporated to operate Productus (section 1) or to a successor that takes over the service; we will tell you by email, and your rights under these terms will not be reduced by the transfer.
18. Reporting content and contacting us
If you believe content hosted by Productus is unlawful, or if you are an authority who needs to reach us, write to hello@productus.ai or to the postal address in section 1, in English or French. A report should tell us where the content is (a link or a description of where it appears), why you believe it is unlawful, your name and email address, and that you are reporting in good faith. A person, not an automated tool, reviews every report. We will acknowledge it, act on it where it is well founded, and tell you what we decided and why. If we restrict or remove content you posted, we will tell you the reason and you can contest the decision by replying to us.
19. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Disputes go to the competent French courts, unless you are a consumer, in which case you may also bring a claim in the courts of the EU country where you live and keep the protections of that country's law. If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest still applies. These terms are the whole agreement between us about Productus; the Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
